Welcome, I am Dr. Thomas Maguire, Founder of Higher Education Assist (Est. 2015), Higher Education Assist showcases a wide variety of college and career initiatives for young adults. There are three exciting initiatives under one umbrella that make up the College & Career Readiness Hub (1) virtual & in person career tours, (2) virtual & in person college tours, (3) scholarships and (4) a college & career kiosk (in select venues). Here is the breakdown.
The Hub
Career Tours: Explore a wide variety of careers and jobs and all they have to offer A great opportunity to discover likes and dislikes within industries. Healthcare, business, criminal justice/law, sports, agriculture, energy, tourism/hospitality, technology, manufacturing, aviation, trades/construction, entertainment, fashion, finance, culinary/food/beverage, media, telecommunications, transportation and more!
College Tours: Explore local and regional colleges, universities, technical and trade institutions. A great opportunity to learn what programs compliment your career interests, desired location, campus amenities, cost of tuition and more.
Scholarships: Higher Education Assist in partnership with local, regional and national organizations award scholarships for participation in career and college readiness
initiatives.
College Kiosk: Higher Education Assist showcases a dedicated college kiosk at college fairs accompanied by QR code for each participating institution for easy access and viewing.
